  • We have a Studio in Clinton Hill at 293 Grand Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11238.

    Please note that we closed our original location at 237 5th Avenue in Park Slope in August of 2025. You can find our classes in Park Slope at 390 Social.

    Mondays     Closed (available for Birthday Parties, Events and Private Lessons)
    Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays Public Classes at 10:15am, 3:30pm and 4:30pm; Art Making 10am-5pm
    Fridays 10am-5pm for Art Making
    Saturdays 10am-5pm for Art Making
    Sundays 10am-5pm for Art Making

    In-Home and Virtual Lessons available 7 days a week.

  • We offer art classes for kids and adults around the world, virtually, in-person and at our Studios!

    The majority of our public classes are for children, but email us for info about our Private and Group classes for teens and adults.

  • Yes! No reservations are needed or taken for our Drop In Art Making.

    Our Studio is open Tuesday-Sunday 10am-5pm.

    We are also open most school holidays, with the exception of Memorial Day.

Refund & Cancelation Policy @ Private Picassos Art Studio 

  • Unused Retail purchases can be returned for store credit with a receipt.

  • If you would like to cancel your participation in a Kid or Adult Art Class or Special Event, please email studio@privatepicassos.com. A refund will be offered for any unused sessions and will be applied to the original payment method. Refunds must be requested within 1 month of the purchase date. 

  • Make-up classes can be arranged by emailing studio@privatepicassos.com. Students can receive a Sawyer credit for 1 missed class.  Any additional missed classes can be made up in a similar class that same semester or the one directly following.

  • Canceled Birthday Parties & Special Events will receive a full refund of their deposit up to the 2 weeks prior to your event.  Any parties canceled within 2 weeks of the event will receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Birthday Party payments are made the day before your event and can only be refunded in the event of a family emergency or other extreme circumstance. 

  • For Private & Group Lessons, we ask for at least 24 hours notice (sent directly to your assigned teacher) to cancel or reschedule a class. Private lessons are typically canceled for that chosen day and then rescheduled at the end of your series or for a later date.

    • In the event of one child being sick or not attending a Private Group Lesson, the group may decide to skip that date and reschedule with at least 24 hours notice to teacher. Otherwise our lesson will go forward as scheduled with no make-up sessions for students who miss class.
